Privacy

This site collects as little as it can. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. Browsing the site sets no cookies; the only one it ever sets is for the shop cart, described below.

Contact form

When you send a message, the studio stores your name, email address and message so it can reply. Messages are kept until they are no longer needed. To have yours deleted, write to the studio and ask.

Visit counts

The site counts page views by day, page and the kind of site that sent you (for example Instagram or a search engine). These counts contain nothing that identifies you. To slow down spam, the contact form keeps a one-way, daily-changing fingerprint of your network address for 24 hours.

Shop cart

When you add something to the cart, the site sets one cookie so it can remember what is in your cart. It is set only then, holds a random code and nothing about you, is not used for tracking, and expires after 30 days.

Purchases

If the shop is open and you buy something, payment is handled by Stripe on its own secure page. The studio receives your name, email and shipping address to send your order, and never sees your card details. Stripe’s privacy policy covers what Stripe collects.

Search

Your recent searches stay on your own device; the site never sees that list. To learn what people look for, the site counts searches by their words and day, with nothing that identifies who searched.

Email list

If you ask to hear about new work, at checkout or in the sign-up form, the studio keeps your email address and the day you asked. Every email has a link to stop them, and it works at once.

Back in stock

If you ask to be told when a piece is available, the studio keeps your email address for that piece and writes to you once when it is.

Customer notes

For people who have bought something, the studio keeps their orders together and may add a short private note, for example a preference for gift wrap. To have yours removed, write to the studio and ask. The state and ZIP code of past orders are kept for sales tax records.

Fonts and images

Fonts and photos are served from this site, so your browser does not contact other companies to display it.
